How we support Indian businesses on WhatsApp

WatEase serves Indian merchants — from neighbourhood kirana stores in Tier-3 towns to multi-location D2C brands shipping pan-India. Our support team is based in India and answers in English and Hindi across email, WhatsApp, and an in-product help inbox. Most queries get a first response within 4 working hours, and we aim to resolve paid-plan tickets on the same business day.

Support hours

Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM IST. Critical issues (payment failures, broadcast errors) get on-call coverage on Sundays for Professional and Enterprise plans. WhatsApp Business API outages are tracked 24×7.

Response SLAs

Free plan: best-effort, typically within one business day. Professional plan: 4-hour first response, same-day resolution on most tickets. Enterprise plan: dedicated success manager, 1-hour response on P0 incidents, quarterly business review.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can I get my WhatsApp Business number live on WatEase?

Most numbers are approved by Meta within 24–48 hours once business verification is complete. WatEase auto-pulls the display name and category at signup and walks you through the verification dialog so there's no copy-pasting between Meta Business Manager and our app.

Do I need to switch from my existing CRM or POS to use WatEase?

No. WatEase ships connectors for Razorpay, Shiprocket, Tally, Marg, Zoho, and Google Sheets, plus a generic webhook endpoint for anything custom. Most merchants run WatEase as the WhatsApp surface on top of their existing stack.

Is the data hosted in India?

Yes. Customer data, order data, and chat transcripts live in ap-south-1 (Mumbai). We're aligned with the DPDPA 2023 consent and data-localisation requirements; the full data processing addendum is available on request from legal@watease.com.

What does enterprise pricing look like?

Enterprise contracts are annual and start at ₹50,000/month for the platform, with WhatsApp conversation costs passed through at Meta's wholesale rate. The pack includes a dedicated success manager, custom SLAs, SAML SSO, audit-log export, and on-prem AI options for regulated verticals.

How do I report a security issue?

Send a detailed report to security@watease.com with reproduction steps. We acknowledge within one business day and run a coordinated-disclosure window for verified findings. Hall of Fame credit is available on request.
