WatEase has one platform fee and one pass-through cost — that's it. The platform fee covers the WatEase product (store builder, inbox, CRM, AI, automation, GST invoicing, support); the pass-through cost is what Meta charges per WhatsApp conversation in India, billed in INR at Meta's wholesale rate. Indian merchants pay no transaction fees on the WatEase platform itself — every order, every message, every webhook is included in the monthly subscription.
The Free Forever plan
Built for small merchants and trial users. Includes up to 10 products, 25 orders per month, your own watease.com subdomain, UPI checkout, GST invoicing, and the AI chatbot grounded on your catalog. There is no credit card required, no trial expiry, and no support tier — best-effort email support during business hours. WhatsApp conversation costs are passed through at Meta's published India rates: ₹0.78 per Marketing conversation, ₹0.114 per Utility, ₹0.114 per Authentication, and ₹0 (free) for Service replies inside the 24-hour customer-reply window.
The Professional plan — ₹999/month (~$12 USD)
The plan most growing brands settle on. Removes every Free-plan limit and unlocks the marketing engine: WhatsApp broadcasts, drip campaigns, abandoned-cart recovery, segment-based automation, custom domain, multi-store, multi-user (3 seats included; ₹299/seat after that), and 4-hour first-response support Monday to Saturday. The 14-day free trial is full-fat — every Professional feature unlocked, no credit card required; if you don't upgrade, the account drops back to the Free plan. Most merchants who sell more than 50 orders/month or run any kind of marketing campaign land here.
The Smart plan — ₹4,999/month (~$299 USD)
Everything in Professional plus access to the WatEase AI marketing engine (currently in early access). The Smart tier opens up cross-channel attribution with confidence ranges, daily budget rebalancing recommendations, content and segment AI, and connections to all major ad platforms. Includes 5 brands and 10 users. The upgrade trigger most teams hit first: monthly Meta+Google ad spend over ₹50,000 or order volume above 500/month — the moment last-click attribution stops being good enough and every additional rupee deserves a cross-channel read on its incremental contribution.
Enterprise — custom pricing from ₹50,000/month
Annual contracts for distributors, multi-brand groups, and regulated verticals (pharma, BFSI, healthcare). Everything in Smart, plus incremental lift measurement, multi-brand dashboards, SSO/SAML, dedicated CSM, 1-hour P0 SLA, audit-log export, sovereign-edge / on-prem deploy options, the agency reseller programme (rev-share negotiated per partner), and a custom DPA. Conversation costs continue to pass through at Meta wholesale; the platform fee is fixed monthly.
Why no transaction fees?
Two reasons. First, payment-gateway transaction fees already get charged by Razorpay, PhonePe, or Paytm at the rails layer (1.99% UPI, 2% cards) — adding our own cut on top makes the platform uneconomic at low average-order-value, which is exactly where Indian SMBs operate. Second, a percentage cut creates the wrong incentive: as your store grows, our fee grows whether or not we add new value. Flat monthly pricing forces us to keep shipping. Plans renew month-to-month or annually (10% off for annual); cancel anytime from the billing settings without contacting support.
